Painted Palms
Painted Palms and their free EP Canopy are blowing my mind right now. Pretty much the only thing able to get me out of this day-after-Thanksgiving food coma! (Even though I’m in England I still made sure to organize a grand feast to share with new friends/family and say thanks!) The two cousins (Chris Prudhomme and Reese Donohue) from San Francisco did a great remix a few months ago of Starfucker’s “Julius” but this is their first bit of work they have put out for themselves. I’d say it’s a huge success. The boys have created some amazingly infectious, blissed-out, tropical tunes. I can’t get enough!
